Using a soft-pull from both the applicant and co-applicant, we now automatically determine whether the buyers qualify as having joint credit. We also calculate a joint DTI (Debt-to-Income) ratio by reviewing both credit files together — including:

– Matching trade lines present on both credit reports
– Calculating three DTIs, one per bureau, based on the combined credit profile

This eliminates the need for manual calculations and provides more accurate data for lender review and approvals.
